The plans, the ideas and the excitement of building our teardrop did become quite an obsession. What shape would it be? What colour? Interior? What would we call it?
Pete set to work on the shape and build of the teardrop. As he’s a carpenter I was quite happy to be his apprentice wherever needed and he led the job. While he focused on the nitty gritty of the build I was busy researching where and what style of interior we wanted for the inside of the teardrop.
This was the fun part for me. The bedding, the cushions, and the kitchen colour scheme. I knew I wanted it to be a warm cozy place to fall after a big day of camping adventures. The kitchen we decided was to be a retro/modern look with a cooktop and sink and bar for happy hour.
The result we absolutely love! It’s cozy and it’s functional and most importantly, fun!
